Lion Premium Grills – Making Pizza On a Lion Grill!
We love having content sent to us and this is a prime example of that; here’s a great video of our grill being used to make pizza. This just showcases how versatile our gas grills are, and how they can be utilized to cook just about anything under the sun. We hope you enjoy this showcase of one of our staple products! Many thanks to Frankie and Luca for sending this video to us!
Lion Premium Grills – Video Log of Our 40″ Grill & Cart
Here’s a great video from Mike Sorbin that showcases our 40″ grill and cart. He really does a great job of going over the different features and accessories in an informative manner. What is also much appreciated is that he mentions details that are often overlooked in other videos such as the placement of the cotter pins on the cast stainless burners and so on. We really appreciate the time and effort put in by Mike Sorbin and would like to thank him!

This video showcases some features or grill details that are commonly overlooked. As you can see, this is where the plug for the grill lights is located on the back; the video shows the cord and power adapter as well.

Here’s a close up of the 40″ L90000 on the cart itself. This angle showcases the knobs and bezels and you can see the embossed logo and nameplate in a bit more detail.

This shows off the door and drawers that are built into the grill cart. In this particular image, you can see just how much storage space is available. The charcoal tray, smoker box, heat shields and other accessories are stored in this compartment for now until the owner decides to put them to use. This just showcases the variety of uses that this portable, built-in storage compartment has.

Here’s a screen cap of one of our storage drawers. You can see that the owner is storing his rotisserie motor and a cast stainless steel burner inside and he still has ample space to store more products or items inside.

This is a close up of our 40″ grill open with the rotisserie rod inserted. In this image we wanted to show you a closer view of the rod with the counterweight and washers attached.

The side of our grill cart even has extra features such as a handy bottle opener. It’s a small addition but it really is quite useful as you’ll never find yourself looking for a bottle opener at the most inopportune moments. If you’re grilling one will always be available to you.

Last but not least, this is an image of the interior of the grill with the grill lights on, the rod and spit, griddle plate, warming rack and more. The owner has also outfitted his grill with the optional searing burner and our ceramic tubes and tray (for indirect cooking).

Impressive!
“I have been nothing but impressed with this large and solidly built gas grill. The heat is quite even throughout the surface with only a slightly higher cooking temp at the very back of the burners. The rotisserie works extremely well and I have cooked several 12-15 lb turkeys on it with a result that is perfectly moist and tender. I recently started using the solid grill surface included in the kit and love it. It is great for bacon, sausage and seafood which may fall through the normal grill grates. Don’t know why this isn’t a standard for all grills.”

Lion Premium Grills Featured Recipe: Grilled Ribeye Steak
While grilling a steak may seem self-explanatory, it’s all about the subtle techniques that makes a truly excellent steak. This month we have a delicious preparation of one of our favorites amongst all of us at Lion Premium Grills – the bone-in ribeye steak. With that said, this month’s recipe comes from renowned chef, Emeril Lagasse. It’s a very easy prep, but the end result is completely unbelievable as far as taste and flavor are concerned. This is one to remember, savor, and enjoy. Here’s the recipe:
INGREDIENTS
Four bone-in rib steaks
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Emeril’s Original Essence or Creole Seasoning
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
INGREDIENTS FOR STEAK RUB
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
DIRECTIONS
- Allow the steaks to come to room temperature for up to 1 hour.
- Rub the steaks on both sides with the vegetable oil, and season them liberally with Original Essence, kosher salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees, and preheat a grill, grill pan, or cast-iron skillet to medium-high.
- Grill the steaks until they are seared on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. Then transfer the steaks to a baking sheet, place it in the oven, and cook until the meat reaches the desired temperature, 140 degrees for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the oven and let them sit for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

You can feel the hardiness and density and the high quality of construction upon examination. Lion Premium Grills – Getting Prepped for Grill Season : How to Maintain Your Lion Grill Parts

Cleaning & Maintaining Your Grill for Optimum Permance
It’s a given that keeping a well maintained gas BBQ grill and cleaning it regularly will keep it in tip top condition for years to come. One of our goals was to also ensure that any type of clean-up, whether it be the grids or the burners, was quick and relatively easy. We would like to provide some quick tips for maintaining a beautiful BBQ grill.
Cleaning Your Lion BBQ Grill Burners
Before you start it is ESSENTIAL that you make sure that the fuel line to the grill is disconnected. Please also make sure that any of the control knobs on the grill for any of the individual burners are off! This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and must be followed to ensure your safety and security when cleaning any of the grill burners. In this case, accidents can be avoided, just please take the proper precautions. Once this is complete, the process can begin. Remove the cooking grids and extract the burners carefully from the orifice they’re set in. We recommend using a wire brush to clean the burners off. Slosh off all of the caked food matter, oils, grease, etc. that coat the outer layer of the burner with the brush; try to clean up/out any of the flame ports on the burners as some most likely will be clogged which reduces burner performance. If the burner looks to be damaged do not continue to use it; you will need to order a new one. If everything is fine, place the clean burner back into place and re-attach the gas valve orifices.
Cleaning Your Lion BBQ Flame Tamers
Cleaning the flame tamer is a cinch; it does not need to be cleaned after every usage of the grill, just please regularly check to see if the tamers need to be cleaned. When it’s time to clean, the process is really easy. Remove the cooking grids and take out the flame tamers from their original position. Prepare your wire brush along with a solution made of soup and warm water. Soften the various residue and caked on gunk with the brush; you may scrub vigorously. Once finished, please all the flame tamer to dry completely before placing it back into position in the grill.
Cleaning Your Lion BBQ Cooking Grids
It is recommended that you clean your cooking grids very regularly; it’s preferential to do so after a few usages of the grill. Make sure that the cooking grids have had time to cool off. Once they have you can gently remove them from the grill itself. You can submerge them in a soap and warm water solution and gently use a warm wash cloth to clean off any particles or residue that remains.
